An unmissable event for design and architecture enthusiasts is just around the corner: the Milan Design Film Festival (MDFF). The event returns to illuminate the cinematic scene from March 6 to 10, 2024, bringing its 11th edition filled with compelling stories, visions, and innovative reflections. On this occasion, Superstudio, always a reference center and keen observer of all design-oriented events, couldn't miss the opportunity to gather the most intriguing previews of this unmissable festival.

Milano Fashion Week concluded with Aniye Records' innovative runway show at Superstudio Maxi, presenting the "Dark Date" collection. The event played with various contrasts: the "dark" elements of the collection against the bright setups on one side, and the light background music during anticipation juxtaposed with the captivating rhythm accompanying the runway on the other. An impactful sensory experience demonstrated that Superstudio remains an ideal location for prominent fashion events.

Three initiatives at FLA during Milan MuseoCity. From March 1st to 5th, the museum will remain open to provide various points of reflection. The exhibition "Burqa - A Look Beyond the Veil" by Flavio Lucchini, focused on the symbolism of clothing and modernity. Laura Rota, within The Lab space, presents abstract and geometric creations promoting a message of hope and inclusion. "Meditation Rave" explores the convergence of art, science, and spirituality, offering guided meditation sessions by Daniel Lumera.

Milan becomes the hub of art and culture with the return of (un)fair, the non-fair fair of contemporary art, which will take place at Superstudio Maxi from March 1st to 3rd. In its third edition, the event celebrates the theme of desire and the intimate human aspiration to satisfy needs and pleasures. The promotional campaign by Rooy Charlie Lana indeed stages the theme of identity, the body as a performative act, and hidden desires. Waiting for visitors are 60 galleries with works ranging from the concept of anti-desire to the unknown with Ilaria Fasoli. Among talks, workshops, and experimental projects, there are also bold adults-only initiatives.

At the same time as the Art Dubai days, the "Hair" exhibition opens on February 28th at the Oblong Contemporary Art Gallery - Dubai with a selection of the latest works by Flavio Lucchini, artist and founder of Superstudio, who lived also in Dubai. A welcome return after his 2020 "The Vogue Lesson" Solo Show which inaugurated the gallery itself. This time the protagonist of his art is not fashion but the woman through a hundred faces invaded by color where it is the hair that speaks to us of contemporaneity.
