ANIYE RECORDS: SYMPHONY OF CONTRASTS

Posted by: Luna Alessi

As the lights dimmed on Milano Fashion Week, well-known fashion brands once again graced the spaces of Superstudio. Closing the rich schedule of events was the Aniye Records runway show. The brand, appreciated by notable artists such as the South Korean girl band Twice, Rita Ora, and Victoria De Angelis of MÃ¥neskin, brought a truly avant-garde proposal to the expansive Superstudio Maxi spaces: the "Dark Date" collection.
Corsets, girdles, and sensual transparencies paraded alongside corsair ruffles, flowing ribbons, and long trains, as well as studded jackets, vinyl cuissard boots, and animal prints. The "dark" notes of Alessandra Marchi's proposal, the creative director of the label and founder of the Aniye By brand, clashed with the light tones of the extremely refined and elegant installation that served as a backdrop. This contrast was also reflected in the musical selection: the delicate sounds filling the audience's anticipation before the runway began abruptly stopped to make way for energetic, overwhelming, and powerful music that accompanied the models' striking entrance.
The duality between the dark soul of the collection and the luminous elegance of Superstudio Maxi's setups provided a striking contrast, transforming the event into a sensory experience. It exemplifies how, once again, Superstudio proved to be the perfect stage for fashion-related events.
