 For the third year in a row, the historic Lombard company, famous for its bright décor and rotational moulding, wins the Good Design Award which rewards excellence and innovation, organized by Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design with Metropolitan Arts Press.
This time the award goes to Ottocento tables collection by Paola Navone which thanks to Slide's know-how are able to combine classic industrial production with craftmanship. Every single piece with soft shapes has no-replicable black and white shades, which recall marble natural colors.

Sustainability and advanced craftsmanship are core themes of WSM digital new edition, the online project by White which presents 40 men's and unisex collections from 16 to 18 January on the occasion of Milan Fashion Week Men's Collection.

We knew that our "Unreal but Real" exhibition with Flavio Lucchini artworks in augmented reality was avant-garde, but we would not have imagined even prophetic. A new way of enjoying contemporary art that Superstudio had already guessed almost two years ago. A trend that today becomes a necessity. 

Presented in April 2019 at Superstudio Più with the brand new technology created by Sense - immaterial Reality, the virtual exhibition allowed you to enjoy an emotional journey through the mobile phone and a dedicated app of Flavio Lucchini's large sculptures and installations, which interacted with visitors and they could also be photographed as well as shared on social media...

In recent years, new categories of materials and technologies are emerging influenced by the hybridization of design with science and some technological developments such as Internet of Things (IoT). These are termed ICS materials, an acronym for Interactive, Connected, and Smart Materials.

ICS materials are able to establish a bidirectional exchange of information with non-human and human entities and respond reversibly to external stimuli, modifying their properties and qualities. Lastly they can be programmable, not only through software.
