What better showcase than White Show, the contemporary fashion fair for twenty-two years at Superstudio and ramped up in the Tortona District, for five young designers who, encouraged and supported by Istituto Marangoni, want to change the fashion world?

Following the success of its last edition at Superstudio Più, PLUG-MI returns to Milan in grand style, this time taking over the striking setting of Superstudio Maxi. It’s a must-see event for street culture lovers, where music, urban art, and lifestyle trends merge into a truly unique experience. With its “XXL” edition, PLUG-MI promises an even more exciting and immersive program, featuring performances, shows, and activities that embody the vibrant and dynamic spirit of contemporary urban culture.

Vogue Italia is celebrating 60 years, a milestone birthday, and the “Sixty Years Of Vogue Italia” exhibition at Palazzo Clerici brings its history to life through its 60 most iconic covers. It was Flavio Lucchini who created the Italian edition of Vogue and for a full 17 years, as art director, he animated the magazine, revolutionizing the entire fashion publishing industry. Alongside him was his wife Gisella Borioli. Today, the founders of Superstudio, do not forget those incredible years and continue to search for beauty in each of their projects.

After Milan Fashion Week, the city doesn’t slow down and is gearing up for a packed October full of art-related events. Exhibitions, openings, installations, and special initiatives will take place not only in galleries and museums but also in more unconventional spaces.

As the countdown begins to one of Milan's most significant fashion moments, the beating heart of Milan Fashion Week starts pulsing with excitement. This isn't just the usual affair but an edition brimming with surprises—from an extra digital date to ample space dedicated to young talent. Among the 173 events scheduled from September 17 to 23, here are those taking place at Superstudio venues:
· FENDI – September 17, Superstudio Maxi
FENDI takes the lead by inaugurating Milan Fashion Week at Superstudio Maxi. Showcasing the brand's elegance and creativity on the runway, it kicks off a week that promises to dazzle.
· Sprayground – September 18, Superstudio 13
Making its European debut at Superstudio 13, Sprayground hosts an event that fuses art, design, music, and pop culture, aiming to captivate streetwear enthusiasts.
· WHITE – September 19-22, Superstudio Più
Now a staple at Superstudio Più, the WHITE show presents the inaugural edition of “I’M TALENT SHOWROOM.” This new initiative, born from a collaboration with Istituto Marangoni, is dedicated to the dreams of emerging talents in the fashion industry.The week will wrap up in the digital realm with an event that explores the boundary between reality and virtuality, offering a new dimension for experiencing fashion.

The refined ballo&ballo exhibition at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan dedicated to the legendary photographer Aldo Ballo and his wife MariRosa, reminded me of distant times when I had the privilege of working with them for Ottagono magazine. The essential and perfect photos, of absolute beauty, told with light and shadow the evolution of design without any other artifice. Sometimes Aldo would introduce a living, almost casual presence into them. Once it was my turn, in an unforgettable photo.

This event is part of the theGINweek, which is set to take over the coolest spots in Milan.

On July 11th, in the picturesque garden of Superstudio Più, the long-awaited Summer Party will be held, now in its 5th edition. A magical evening where all the different souls of Superstudio will unite for the first time in one grand celebration.
   The festivities will commence at 7:00 PM, blending art and light-heartedness. At the entrance, you will find the coordinated image of the event by Daniele Cima, who, inspired by the Bauhaus, has created a new visual alphabet of unique words and images. Strolling through the garden, you can admire the sculptures of Flavio Lucchini, Giorgio Gurioli, and Marco Maggioni in a fascinating dialogue between art and nature. Meanwhile, as art comes to life on the white canvases of Laura Rota, Ipsilonpi, and Ricky Bordoni, the artists of NINFA will illuminate the night with an intriguing loop of digital works. There will also be a live space where you can witness the behind-the-scenes of a professional photo shoot, curated by EPHOTO, and the opportunity to visit the FLA Museum, open exclusively for the occasion until 9:00 PM.
   The garden, the heart of the evening, will pulse with energy, between fresh cocktails and delicious dishes, lighting up the night with pure energy.

From Matisse to Rodin, the influence of art on the movements of dancers and choreographers, and vice versa, has always been the result of intimate and unpredictable emotions. This time, it is a work by Flavio Lucchini that leaves its mark at the DAP Festival, which, in its eighth edition, chooses to pay homage to the artist with a performance dedicated to the sculpture "Ghost." It was presented in the setting of the Gran Teatro della Versiliana in Marina di Pietrasanta on July 6, 2024, on the occasion of the Grand Gala.
