Interactions with art have always been a hallmark of Superstudio Più, located on Via Tortona, which has fostered collaboration and integration among different forms of creativity and communication since its inception. During Design Week, this becomes a strength and a mark of excellence, underscoring its uniqueness. 

In particular, Superstudio’s museum—the FLA, Flavio Lucchini Art Museum—is a large and unexpected exhibition space dedicated to works by the Group’s founder. These pieces speak of fashion, beauty, creativity, past, and future. During Milan Design Week, the museum transforms into a captivating location, hosting special design projects enhanced by dialogue with the surrounding artworks.

Sometimes the past knocks on the door, all at once. This autumn, Milan paid homage to the legends of yesterday. My journey down memory lane began with the exhibition dedicated to Aldo Fallai at Armani/Silos, followed by the Ballo&Ballo show at Castello Sforzesco, the photography exhibition of Ugo Mulas at Palazzo Reale, and Elio Fiorucci at Triennale, culminating in the Franco Moschino exhibition marking 30 years since his passing, held at our MyOwnGallery.
Next year will mark 25 years of Superstudio Più in Via Tortona—a visionary initiative that played a role in reshaping the city through creativity. It has been a journey through fashion, art, and photography, one I was fortunate to partake in, and whose milestones I am pleased to reflect on here.

Among the countless important and spectacular events hosted by Superstudio Più and Maxi, the SIAE awards ceremony shone brightly on Saturday evening on Via Tortona. For the second edition of the award, a stellar lineup of music world royalty was welcomed by an exuberant Amadeus in the main hall, which had been transformed for the occasion into an elegant space, featuring white sofas and tables enveloped in blue light.
On the extensive stage, the winners of the SIAE Awards for various musical categories—those that have kept us dancing, listening, downloading, playing, and enjoying over the past year—took center stage. The awardees included superstar Marco Mengoni, Lazza, Stash with Alex, Starchild, Davide Petrella, and many others.
A delightful surprise came from Francesca Modugno, the granddaughter of Domenico Modugno, who enchanted everyone with a breathtaking performance of Nel blu dipinto di blu. Special guests included Ornella Vanoni, Gabriele Muccino, and Milan's Culture Councillor Tommaso Sacchi. The event was topped off with a touch of culinary excellence thanks to the risotto prepared by Carlo Cracco's catering service.
After such a successful and enthusiastic evening, we can’t wait for the third edition to take place at Superstudio Più!

Irreverent, visionary, ironic, and relentlessly unconventional, Franco Moschino was the enfant terrible of Italian fashion—a multifaceted genius who dismantled the conventions of the fashion system with a mischievous smile. Few remembered the 30th anniversary of his passing, but the multidisciplinary exhibition at MyOwnGallery is far from a nostalgic endeavor. Instead, it celebrates his vision, which was ahead of its time.

A human and professional story as exciting as a novel. It is that of Gisella Borioli Lucchini, journalist, creative, co-founder and president of Superstudio group. Her autobiography begins at the end of World War II and comes to the present day, touching the strings of feelings and commitment.

As every year, when planning the overall concept for the upcoming Design Week in Milan, the first step is to choose the theme of the year, which will guide the entire Superstudio Più event, the Superdesign Show 2025.
Celebrating 25 years of design is a major milestone for us, especially as we were the first to launch and drive the Fuorisalone phenomenon across various neighborhoods. It required a strong and meaningful idea, one that speaks to the times we’re living in. Perhaps we’ve found it.

Learning the art of events and especially how to organize the most iconic event of Milan Design Week from which the phenomenon of Fuorisalone spread throughout the city? With the “Superstudio Academy” module included in LUM University's Art and Design Management program, it is now possible to enter the design-in-the-city system, learn the mechanisms, actively participate in the preparation of the upcoming Superdesign Show 2025, carving out its secrets. From study to work, the gap is bridged.
