Heimat is a concept that has a deep meaning in German culture. It is home, the place of belonging and of heart, the homeland. It’s also the exhibition title "Heimat. A Sense of Belonging" commissioned and curated by Giorgio Armani in his Armani Silos, to celebrate one of the greatest masters of twentieth century photography, Peter Lindbergh, who died in September 2019 at the age of 74.
