The major celebration of sport and entertainment at the Milan Cortina Olympics and in other mountain locations across Lombardy has come to an end in the best possible way. Everyone is happy — especially the Dutch team, with its impressive medal haul. And of course Superstudio, which hosted them with parties and interactive experiences in the magnificent CASA OLANDA on Via Tortona.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics have come to an end with a grand finale. And just like that, Casa Olanda — hosted at Superstudio Più — has concluded, and we already miss it.
We truly appreciated the warmth, kindness, and availability of the entire staff, who never lost their calm even during the most hectic moments. We celebrated their 38 athletes and their 30 medals as if they were our own 30. We tasted Dutch specialties and toasted with the sparkling bubbles of local beer. We danced, sang, and applauded together during the evening shows, animated by vibrant, dancing lights. We tried the iconic orange bikes — some electric, some not — all 250 of them freely circulating through the streets of Milan, even if our guests found the roads a bit challenging due to chaotic traffic and too many potholes (something we know all too well!). We admired the order and precision of both the setup and dismantling, carried out with full respect for the Superstudio community, which continued its activities without interference, while enjoying the festive atmosphere. We were ready to thank them when the thank you — tangible and unmistakable — came from them, in the form of a symbol of a friendship that will not end here.
Goodbye, Netherlands. We look forward to welcoming you back very soon.
