FLAVIO LUCCHINI AND FUORIEXPO ITALIAN DESIGN IN DUBAI

Posted by: Gisella Borioli

A temporary "house" for Italian entrepreneurs visiting ExpoDubai2020. Where to explore business possibilities, fasten new relationships, organize confidential and convivial dinners for the entire period of the great universal exhibition. At the Hotel InterContinental in Dubai Marina a magnificent Penthouse that speaks Italian between art and design awaits you.

An intelligent and sophisticated project has been installed in the many rooms of Penthouse number 3801 of the InterContinental Hotel in Dubai Marina. Created by the Polytechnic and Polytechnic Foundation Milan with Lombardy Region, it has transformed every space into a room or a living room where you can accommodate "at home" with the warmth and refinement of Italian hospitality new contacts and exploring new possibilities for all six months of ExpoDubai2020. The hotel already offers its conference rooms for meetings and round tables. Almost natural to continue in the innovation house on the top floor, with a light and a clamorous view, the most promising meetings.
Inaugurated yesterday by the President of Lombardy Region Attilio Fontana, the Councilor for Climate and Environment Raffaele Cattaneo, the President of Polytechnic Foundation Andrea Sianesi, and local authorities, Innovation House was amazed by the elegance of its atmosphere. In fact, record time the numerous rooms were temporarily renewed with famous Italian brands from the Baituti Group and completed by the works of Flavio Lucchini, Italian artist residing in Milan but living and working in Dubai at different moments of the year. Every room speaks of fashion and design, mixing all in a particular exhibition where paintings and sculptures of this representative artist of Italian creativity are confronted with the high-class furnishings of B&B, Flos, Azucena, Louis Poulsen, Maxalto.
Instead of in cold meeting rooms the entrepreneurs who wish will now can accommodate potential partners or customers in an atmosphere "see you at my house", comfortable, contemporary and functional and with the hotel's organizational support. The "personal" of Flavio Lucchini, who speaks of fashion and creativity with his graphic paintings, sinuous bas-reliefs, wooden totem, funny Dolls, aroused great interest in the public, local or international it was. Thanks to Cristina Romelli who proposed the artist, to Paola Marucci, General Manager of the Oblong Gallery which represents him in Dubai, to Ilio Allas of Baituti who organized everything, to Andrea Sianesi President of Polytechnic of Milan Foundation and his team, to the hotel's technical staff, in a few days we have realized a very special and interesting environment. Superstudio has created a special edition of its magazine @AT(www.superstudiomagazine.com) digital and paper visible online or distributed in the Innovation House for the occasion. Now the InterContinental hotel of Dubai Marina, with its congress centers and the welcoming Penthouse, is ready for a 6-month fuoriExpo.
