The European Green Party and the Greens-Efa group at the European Parliament have chosen Milan and Superstudio for a laboratory on climate and biodiversity. After Greta Thunberg in the demonstration of the last few days the dialogue continues with the presence, among others, of the mayor Beppe Sala, of the captain Carola Rackete, of the meteorologist Luca Mercalli.
Milan, the spearhead of questions and, hopefully, actions on climate and the containment of natural disasters, offers interesting moments for thought in these days. We have seen to arrive in Milan the guys of the Youth4Climate for Mico's meetings, with the activists the Swedish Greta Thunberg and, for this time, the Ugandan Vanessa Nakate, even more effective testimonial of the drama of the African continent. Afterwards, qualified representatives of the European Greens meet in the large rooms of Superstudio Più for three days starting today to discuss how to deal with the transition to a safer and more sustainable world and the role of activists and politicians. "We are at the beginning of the last decade in which we can still save the climate - they declare - we need ambitious and binding objectives, as well as measures and incentives for the decarbonisation of the industry and a socially just transition". A continuous workshop that promises to be interesting: "Climate Action" in fact aims to follow up on words and has a program open to ideas and solutions. Time is short, we are all responsible for our future.
