Last but not least, the author of one of the poems on display: Maria Francesca Merloni who “found in poetry her personal vocation, resulting in her civil committment, which was officialy acknowledged in 2017 when she was awarded the Goodwill Ambassador for Creative Cities by the UNESCO General Director, Irina Bokova, for her dedication to reconstructing the centers of the Appennino and promoting sense of humanity, and ethical, intellectual, cultural and social progress.
