From the very beginning, we called those weekends at Superstudio Maxi “Passion Days,” dedicated to small and medium-sized fairs, spaces of genuine emotions and achievable dreams.
This year, for the 20th anniversary of Abilmente, the Creative Ideas Show by Italian Exhibition Group, the heart of creativity beats stronger than ever, from October 23 to 26 in Milan. What passion could be more universal and contagious than “do-it-yourself” and artistic craftsmanship? Abilmente is a growing complex of creativity, a true forge of ideas, among sales stands, interactive workshops, and live demonstrations. A kaleidoscope of handmade creations, eco-chic trends, applied arts and unique products, all to be made with your own hands.
Today’s fashion and trendy accessories scene moves between extremely distant poles, which sometimes meet and surprise the system. At Superstudio Più, where big names walk the runway and cutting-edge fairs take center stage, once a year a special kind of Vintage arrives that reaches across half of Europe, combining savings, quality, and nostalgia.
Vintage, which in recent years has become one of people’s desires for economic, nostalgic, cultural, individual, inclusive, ethical, and sustainable reasons, has turned into a universal trend that has even contaminated the runways of the most famous brands, revolutionizing their image.
In line with the focus on the latest technologies that improve material performance, two days dedicated to innovation, sustainability and technological progress in the world of paints and coatings.

The Nicola Trussardi Foundation explores the city of Milan with unusual exhibitions in ever-changing locations. This time it has landed at Palazzo Morando - which, not by chance, was inaugurated on the female-focused path precisely by Gisella Borioli as curator in 2007 with the exhibition “Divina! Maria Callas tra Moda e Mito” - the visionary exhibition “Fata Morgana: memoria dall’invisibile” curated by Massimiliano Gioni, Daniel Birnbaum, former directors of the Venice Art Biennale, and Marta Papini. And the mystery is revealed in all its forms.
Let’s think about it. Everything always manifests itself as a matter of feminine intuition and foresight, when speaking of Palazzo Morando in Milan, the noble residence of Countess Lydia Caprara Morando Attendolo Bolognini.
The Twenty-first Contemporary Day will take place on Saturday October 4, 2025 in Milan and throughout Italy, and from October 4 to 10 also abroad. An initiative by AMACI (Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums), which celebrates contemporary art and involves twenty-six member museums and over a thousand galleries, foundations and non-profit spaces. In Milan, as in other cities, events, exhibitions, workshops and special initiatives open their doors free of charge for a special day. For Superstudio, a good occasion to toast on the very day of the 97th birthday of Flavio Lucchini, founder of Superstudio Group and refined artist, who in the large and mysterious FLA, reinterprets contemporary fashion and its relationship with society through art. In twenty thematic rooms a guided and educational journey into beauty far beyond appearances.
At 7 pm, best wishes and bubbles for the visitors present, upon reservation.

Now back in the spotlight, though in truth he never faded, the great American photographer/artist Man Ray (1890-1976) is on view until January 11 at Palazzo Reale, Milan, with a photographic exhibition that highlights his entire dadaist, surrealist, and forward-looking multitasking poetics across photography, art, design, fashion, cinema, and experimentation. For me it brought back the unforgettable memory I had kept in my heart.
Today the exhibition on Man Ray opens at Palazzo Reale. There are encounters that change your life, moments that become eternal, Masters who in just a few hours make you understand an entire world. This is what happened to me with Man Ray, whom I met in Paris in his atelier for a feature in L’Uomo Vogue. I was very young and intimidated by the idea of meeting a Myth.
There are dreams that remain in the drawer and others that, sooner or later, come true. Just as Gaia Lucchini tenaciously wanted, to put her studies to good use in dance and contemporary choreography between Milan and Paris, art in Providence, fashion design in New York, and experiences for international shows.
From Dubai, where she now lives and has created her brand Miss Gaja, with which she designs costumes for the most famous musicals staged at the Dubai American Academy and the romantic, personalized prom dresses for the end-of-year dance, Gaia sent us her beautiful sketches. Figures that reveal a very modern and multitasking talent between fashion and art. She tells it like this. "Miss Gaja was born partly by chance, partly as a natural consequence of a love story between theater, dance, and the students of a school to which I have long dedicated my soul and heart.
In Milan, in the heart of the city that has made creativity its defining feature, a union has emerged that promises to change the rules of the game. Superstudio Events – already a benchmark for the city’s most important events, from fashion shows to conventions – has decided to take one step further: welcoming Audiolux, a historic Milanese company that for over twenty years has illuminated concerts, television shows and major festivals with its audio, video, and lighting technologies.
This is not the usual financial operation, the kind you read about in press releases. It is rather the natural evolution of a long friendship: two worlds that have known each other for a long time and have chosen to grow together.
Imagine having to organize an event: previously it was necessary to coordinate the location, technical services, production. Now, instead, everything lives under the same roof. A single interlocutor, a single direction, from the initial idea to the final realization. Simpler, faster, more powerful.
