Will it be a new Renaissance? This way Italy of design starts again: Borioli, Cappellini and Cibic protagonists of the webinar by Matrix4Design and Superstudio
Our lives are changing. We see it every day: because of the measures taken to face the COVID-19 emergency we were forced to profoundly change the way we work, move, think. The space around us has taken on new dimensions, where technology has become more and more present and has helped us redefine roles, contacts and relationships.
However, this is not enough. Months in which we will be called to imagine the unthinkable and to do so with flexibility and creativity await us, breaking ten-year customs to develop an innovative idea of society, based on a different way of conceiving products and services.
It is an epochal challenge, that we cannot overcome without the help of those who, for a job, take care of giving shape to the world and things and holds the tools that today more than ever need to reshape the contemporary: are the architects, the designers, the creatives people of all sectors, those who through the project in its broadest sense will have to show us the way to transform change into opportunity.
How to go back to doing business, how to reorganize the work space, how to reclaim public spaces, how to resume going to places of commerce and culture, how to cultivate human relations in a new way: we'll talk about these topics on Wednesday, May 6th at 11am in occasion of the webinar "Will it be a new Renaissance? This way Italy of design starts again" organized by Matrix4Design in collaboration with Superstudio Group.
To discuss the potential of design and its ability to redesign the universe that surrounds us there will be Gisella Borioli, CEO of Superstudio Group and creator of Superdesign Show, Giulio Cappellini, architect, designer, entrepreneur and art director of Cappellini, and Aldo Cibic, architect, designer, founder of the Cibic&Partners studio and the Cibic Workshop research space.
The webinar is in Italian. To participate, register here.
