WHEN LIGHT MEETS SPACE

In Milan, in the heart of the city that has made creativity its defining feature, a union has emerged that promises to change the rules of the game. Superstudio Events – already a benchmark for the city’s most important events, from fashion shows to conventions – has decided to take one step further: welcoming Audiolux, a historic Milanese company that for over twenty years has illuminated concerts, television shows and major festivals with its audio, video, and lighting technologies.

This is not the usual financial operation, the kind you read about in press releases. It is rather the natural evolution of a long friendship: two worlds that have known each other for a long time and have chosen to grow together.
Imagine having to organize an event: previously it was necessary to coordinate the location, technical services, production. Now, instead, everything lives under the same roof. A single interlocutor, a single direction, from the initial idea to the final realization. Simpler, faster, more powerful.

Audiolux brings with it an impressive set of experiences: television productions such as MasterChef and Fratelli di Crozza, events like Umbria Jazz or the Monza Formula 1 Grand Prix. Superstudio contributes its four major event spaces – from Più to Maxi, up to the new Village in Bovisa – and its organizational capacity. The result? An integrated hub with no equal in Italy or Europe, capable of raising the bar and looking beyond borders.
“With the entry of Audiolux we are not simply acquiring a company, but embracing the journey and vision of its founder, Ettore Dell’Orti, with whom we have collaborated for years. It is the natural evolution of a relationship built over time, which today becomes a shared project: combining the solidity of our locations with the technical excellence of Audiolux. Together, we want to strengthen Milan’s role as the European capital of events and bring our integrated model to an international scale,” explains Tommaso Borioli, CEO of Superstudio Events.
And it doesn’t stop there. While the acquisition of Audiolux strengthens the service dimension, Superstudio Events is already looking ahead, focusing on two main areas: the expansion of spaces and internationalization. Between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, the new Superstudio Village in Bovisa will open, 8,000 square meters redeveloped according to the highest sustainability standards, while in New York the group’s first foreign branch will be established. A new phase that carries forward the legacy of Gisella Borioli and Flavio Lucchini, the founders who transformed Tortona into an international design and events district, and which today consolidates with a project capable of integrating skills and technologies to face future challenges.
For clients this means more possibilities, more creativity, more confidence in having behind them a solid group that speaks the language of brands and the language of technology with the same naturalness. For the city it is a strong signal: Milan continues to reinvent itself, and once again does so through events, culture, and innovation.
And while the spotlights turn on and the sets take shape, this union is not just the promise of better service, but the birth of a unique player in Europe, capable of transforming every event into a global experience. Milan, with its inexhaustible energy, thus becomes the ideal stage for a future where every event can become unforgettable.
