The initiative, thanks to the vision of Superstudio founders Flavio Lucchini and Gisella Borioli, and the artistic contribution of Giulio Cappellini, first brought to Via Tortona the idea of a whole exhibition complex where design could experiment with new languages to be known and appreciated by an increasingly large audience, changing culture and democratizing itself. “Less Fair, More Museum” was the guiding principle during the years of what is now Superdesign Show, our most important event. Always focused on the cultural aspect, the great protagonists, young talents, crossovers, mise-en-scène, emotions, experimentation, the latest technologies, distant horizons, innovation, and showmanship. With us, from the very beginning, were the most beautiful brands of Made in Italy, with their bold furniture that broke the norms of convention and helped make us the “must to be” (Financial Times) place, a talent incubator and a cradle of trends. Today, many of them return to celebrate the twenty-five glorious years in the exhibition Unforgettable, curated by Giulio Cappellini and Leonardo Talarico, which showcases the unforgettable objects of Acerbis, Alcantara®, Alessi, Boffi, CAPPELLINI, Cassina, Flaminia, De Padova, HENRYTIMI, Icone Luce, Living Divani, MDF Italia, Moroso, POLIFORM, Poltorna Frau, Technogym, Trussardi Casa, Zanotta.
