THE “EXTENDED” REBIRTH OF ANGELA

VIDEO INTERVIEW
Posted by: Cinzia Malvini

Thanks to the extension of "Angela" until 3 April in MyOwnGallery at Superstudio Più on the occasion of the Miart, you can learn more about the artist's production through the video edited by Cinzia Malvini for the Magazine The Collector.

This is what art is about: starting again from ourselves, from our intimate and secret soul and bringing life back to the world. Angela Carrubba Pintaldi has returned after a long period of reflection, which was exacerbated by the Lockdown months, to express the strength and shapes of nature in each of her works.
"Angela", curated by Anna Imponente, under the Art Direction of Luca Mercatelli and the Supervision of Gisella Borioli, is the first part of a trilogy of art exhibitions that will also include Naples and Palermo. The exhibition is at its first stop in Milan, and in the days of the Miart (30 March-3 April) is going to be one of the most-awaited events of the FuoriMiart. In addition to the reknown sculpture-jewelry, and along with the paintings taking shape through the colours clustered on the canvas and produced in Pantelleria, this will be the occasion to view her video performance Rinascita, a production by Juan Diego Lopez and music by Nacho Sotomayor. There are also images by Giovanni Gastel, the Milanese photographer who used to consider light as the greatest expression of the divine, and would have loved the poem "di luce Altra" written by Francesca Merloni and dedicated to Angela Carrubba Pintaldi, "….perché il tuo Raggio ci traversi  e possa in noi tracciare fisionomie di astri e della terra…." The pictures of the exhibition by her daughter Angelica Cantù Rajnoldi, who is present with her production at the Biennale di Venezia, accompany the latest journey of “Angela”. Further evidence of a kind of art infused with passion, family, faith, and Rinascita.
