The first fashion/art Museum of Flavio Lucchini has officially opened after the crowd of the first days of Design Week at Superstudio, with an evening between friends representing the bridge of command and the intelligentsia of Milan. The artist crowned thirty years of work in art.
the personal Museum FLAVIOLUCCHINIART was inaugurated yesterday with an exclusive evening invitation to the presence of the artist. A real small museum of fashionart where hundreds of works of the artist/founder of Superstudio made in the last thirty years are collected. The honorary president of the Chamber of Fashion, Mario Boselli, the current president Carlo Capasa, the city councillors Filippo Del Corno (art and culture), Cristina Tajani (fashion, design, work), the president of the Triennale Stefano Boeri, the former CEO of Mondadori Ernesto Mauri (now on the Committee of the Italian Federation of Publishers), the superdesigner Karim Rashid, along with artists, architects, designers, critics, and collectors have been excited by the visions of the dress as an object/subject of creativity of Lucchini. The artist has declined the concept of the dress in many different ways, exploring them from Haute Couture to Burqa. The new "Personal Museum" will be open to the public every day from Tuesday in its different spaces: the Atelier, which saw the birth of all the works of Lucchini, with its temporary exhibitions, cultural activity, teaching, no-profit initiatives; and the space below with a sequence of thematic rooms that show the evolution of the artist’s work from early research to the latest digital works; the dehors with large steel totems cor-ten. As a corollary there was a small photographic preview with the rarefied images of Luca Gilli. Guests have been welcomed by Flavio Lucchini and Gisella Borioli with Emanuela Venturini and Paola Marucci, owners of the Oblong gallery that represents Lucchini in the selection of its international artists. Toast with the new wines Gemma of the Venturini Foschi estates.
