It creates an environment where students, young professionals, companies and international partners can interact through real projects and increasingly interdisciplinary challenges. Workshops, immersive activities, strategic design exercises and field experiences become practical tools for constantly connecting creative thinking with real application. This vision reflects the very nature of Superstudio Group itself: not simply an exhibition venue or an events organiser, but a multicultural platform where ideas, disciplines and people converge. At a time when creative industries increasingly seek versatile professionals capable of understanding and interpreting change, Superstudio Academy presents itself as a dynamic space open to dialogue with new partners, institutions and international creative communities. This approach is embodied in the collaboration with LUM School of Management within the Master's Programme in Arts & Design Management, which involved international students in a learning experience built directly around Superstudio Design, one of the highlights of Milan Design Week.
The concepts developed during this year's programme demonstrated the educational value of the Superstudio Academy model, addressing key themes such as project development, event organisation, the relationship between physical and digital environments, new experience models and the future evolution of events. Four selected participants from the latest edition were invited to develop proposals for a future Superstudio Design exhibition project. Their ideas offer four fascinating perspectives that we are pleased to share here.

The Unified Circuit. By Nina Demetra Kasavica
Anyone who has truly experienced Design Week knows the feeling of spending half the day chasing locations, maps and social media stories without ever being quite sure where to go next. This is the starting point of The Unified Circuit, the project developed by Macedonian student Nina Demetra Kasavica, whose background combines new media art and digital culture. Her idea is to transform Superstudio Più, Superstudio Maxi and Superstudio Village into a single connected ecosystem, where phygital pathways and digital interactions help visitors experience Design Week in a more fluid and less fragmented way. Rather than trying to simplify Milan—probably an impossible task during Design Week—Nina aims to make it more readable while preserving the vibrant chaos that makes the city so unique. An interesting vision from a perspective quite different from the one adopted by Superstudio Events, the actual organiser of the event.

Playing in the Dark. By Can Lagap
Looking at Can Lagap's project, one thought immediately comes to mind: finally, someone at Design Week is turning the lights off instead of adding more. Inside the proposed Black Point room at Superstudio Più, visitors enter a nearly dark environment carrying only a flashlight and with little idea of what awaits them. From this simple premise, the Turkish student, whose background combines game design and digital experiences, creates an environment that feels more like an exploration than a traditional exhibition. Objects and details slowly emerge from the darkness, forcing visitors to slow down, observe, understand and play. After days spent moving between screens, giant installations and endless photo opportunities, this shift of pace feels surprisingly refreshing. Of course, such a minimal experience may leave some visitors disoriented. Yet there is something appealing about the idea that, for once, not everything has to be immediately visible, understandable or shareable.

Super After. By Hanna Maria Kruusma
Listening to Hanna Maria Kruusma, one has the impression that her project emerges more from a state of mind than from a conventional exhibition concept. That is probably what makes Super After so distinctive. The Estonian student, whose sensibility is rooted in interior design and curatorial research, imagines a space where nothing happens all at once. Quite the opposite. Her concept for Superstudio Maxi unfolds through suspended fabrics, soft lighting and surfaces that seem to appear and disappear continuously. The inspiration comes from the phenomenon of the afterimage—the visual impression that remains even after our eyes are closed.
The result is a project that leaves behind a feeling that is difficult to explain yet deeply human: something that lingers, remains with you and continues to resonate long after the experience itself has ended. Without the obsession of creating something instantly spectacular or Instagram-friendly, the project stands as a small but courageous statement during a Design Week that often moves too quickly to allow genuine contemplation.

Regenerated Sustainability. By Brandy Godsil
It must be admitted that when words such as "green", "ethical" and "sustainable" appear repeatedly throughout Design Week, a certain amount of scepticism is understandable. This is precisely why Brandy Godsil's project proves so refreshing. A textile artist and project leader working between Milan and New York, Brandy envisions Superstudio Village as an immersive environment where sustainability is not constantly explained but directly experienced through materials, botanical installations and sensory encounters. Nothing here feels like sustainability used merely as an image or marketing tool. Everything appears warm, tactile and human. Visitors move through spaces, touch surfaces and engage directly with materials.Brandy's background in textiles, education and community engagement is clearly reflected in her ambition to create an environment where the public is not simply observing the experience but actively becomes part of it.
