Twenty students from the Fashion Department of California State University Long Beach (CSULB) made a stop at the FLA Museum, which has now become an essential destination of the "Italy Study Abroad" program, two weeks of study in Italy, visiting iconic companies, showrooms, artisan workshops, retailers, and fashion museums, organized in collaboration with the agency Pink Up. During their journey through Italy’s fashion excellence, the students discovered at the FLA Museum a different and profound vision of Fashion: not only as product or trend, but as art and cultural language that transcends market logic and marketing dictates. Through sculptures, paintings, digital paintings, graphics, and drawings, Flavio Lucchini presents fashion as a metaphor for an evolving society and as a creative gesture capable of transforming the way we view images and interpret contemporary aesthetics. Beyond clothing, there is much more. C.F.F.
