Following the success of its last edition at Superstudio Più, PLUG-MI returns to Milan in grand style, this time taking over the striking setting of Superstudio Maxi. It’s a must-see event for street culture lovers, where music, urban art, and lifestyle trends merge into a truly unique experience. With its “XXL” edition, PLUG-MI promises an even more exciting and immersive program, featuring performances, shows, and activities that embody the vibrant and dynamic spirit of contemporary urban culture.
PLUG-MI is taking a bold step forward, moving from Superstudio Più to Superstudio Maxi—an ambitious evolution for the renowned urban culture festival. This new venue reflects the event's drive to push boundaries, offering visitors an even bigger and more immersive experience. The "XXL" edition promises to captivate, not only with larger spaces but with richer content. Dive into a journey through the diverse world of street culture, where music, sports, art, and fashion come together in a unique and engaging adventure.
One of the highlights of the 2024 edition will be the music, with exclusive performances by artists like Mondo Marcio, Ernia, and Noyz Narcos. Their presence underscores the importance PLUG-MI places on music as a form of expression and connection, capable of bridging generations and giving voice to the most authentic emotions.
But PLUG-MI isn't just about music. The street art area is expanding this year with two new unmissable features. The first is Back to the Roots, featuring the legendary Italian writer Mr. Wany, who will present an exclusive project in the Graffiti Wall area, painting 30 square meters of wall as a tribute to some of the historic works that have become milestones in aerosol art iconography. Key Gallery, on the other hand, will curate a temporary gallery showcasing a selection of canvas works from some of the most representative Italian street artists, including KayOne, Orticanoodles, and Pao.
Art also comes alive through the performances of the Da Move, the Italian legends of freestyle basketball, who sports enthusiasts can catch at the “PLUG-MI Basketball Court.”
Music sets the rhythm, art offers new perspectives, and fashion brings these influences to life in unique styles. Fashion plays a central role here, with special attention to the world of sneakers, the ultimate symbol of street style.
This isn’t just an event, but a true manifesto of urban culture—a place of discovery and sharing, where every aspect—from music to fashion, from art to the latest trends—will be authentically and engagingly represented, telling the story of a culture that knows no boundaries.
