Materially's Innovation Days are four new appointments in which we return to talk about the role of matter in the development of sustainable projects and environmental awareness in construction, where the choice of materials plays a crucial role. The Milan-based consultancy, often a guest of Superstudio's design initiatives, has been working for over twenty years to give visibility to ideas and collaborations with manufacturers and material experimenters, helping to make them known through exhibitions, shows and talks.
For over 20 years, Materially has been an Italian reference point for the research of innovative and sustainable materials for the manufacturing industry and for every design-driver application, in which the vision of the material plays a central role in the construction of product strategies involving the various aspects: design, research and development, production.
A commitment that has found a perfect stage over the years in the Superdesign Show, the event celebrating design that changes the world.
This autumn Materially has organised four events to keep interest in this topic alive. These are the Innovation Days meetings, in-depth analysis and networking that will be held in the spaces of Viale Sarca 336, presented to us by Chiara Rodriguez, Founder and President of the group: on 16 November we will start with Durable Comfort, which will have polyurethane foam as its central theme. An event that aims to dispel the myths about the non-sustainability of this material and tell its potential. On 23 November, Packaging Challenges will focus on the choice of packaging materials to meet sustainability challenges in the packaging sector. Advanced Materials and Finishings on 30 November will investigate advanced technological processes that meet the needs of functionality, aesthetics and sustainability of materials and finishes. Finally, Good Plastic will explore the usefulness of plastic as a durable material on 14 December.
