Why confine artistic performances to traditional cultural venues? This question sparked the innovation of the DAP Festival (Dance in Art in Pietrasanta). This event, which attracts international artists, choreographers, and dancers every year, not only celebrates the union of different artistic expressions but also offers a program that unfolds in theaters, squares, streets, beaches, and pine forests of the city. The multidisciplinary nature promoted by the Festival reflects the very essence of Lucchini, an artist and art director, creator of prominent fashion magazines, and talent scout for great designers and creatives.
"Ghost," a large and surreal resin sculpture, inspired the choreography by PeiJu Chien-Pott and Thomas Johansen, performed by Tamara Fragale, Dominique Guerra, and Jack Ragland. The show united visual arts, music, and movement, evoking the "ghost" of Lucchini and the memories of unforgettable dresses, where the body seems almost evanescent. It was a tribute to the great creatives who marked the golden moments of fashion.
