IN WOMEN'S HANDS: NARCISI FRAGILI

Posted by: Editorial staff

Superstudio presents "In Women's Hands" a project dedicated to female creativity between art, design, architecture and craftsmanship, composed of two complementary exhibitions, “I Fiori della Materia” curated by Gisella Borioli and "Narcisi Fragili" curated by Sabino Maria Frassà.

"...On September 22 Superstudio and Cramum  within the 'I Talenti delle Donne' ('Women's Talents') program of the Municipality of Milan present at MyOwnGallery space (Via Tortona 27 bis)  the female exhibition 'Narcisi Fragili' which hosts the works of five Italian artists: Laura de Santillana, Daniela Ardiri, Flora Deborah, Giulia Manfredi and Francesca Piovesan. 'Narcisi fragili' is an expositive path which investigates beauty and precariousness of human existence, starting from Virginia Woolf's observation: 'I had a moment of great peace. Maybe this is happiness'. Through inner darkness, art is able to transform matter into thought, to share considerations, doubts and glimmers of 'fleeting moments of glory' that become universal, moving beyond its own time and artist's experience...".
