"I was born in Brazil, I was a model, stylist, finding in the fashion world and in the vibrant late 80s Milan the place to put down my roots. I started as an artist through the art of recycling, using my hands, in a real hand made. The meeting with Fiorucci was the turning point and my first collaboration, as a visionary he entrusted me with the ceiling of his shop. And from there it was all a crescendo. My studies in art, design, fashion, Feng Shui, the development of numerous craft techniques have become over time an overwhelming passion for light and decor, leading me to self-produce and design eclectic and emotional collections for several companies. I like to light up dark corners of the house, create surprises, emotions with unique pieces, designed for the place. That passion for tailoring and haute couture brought me to adopt many unusual materials. The harmony and well-being of living is the first element I consider. Each of my drawings and creations was designed in order to give joy, in addition to their purpose. The magic of Brazil can be seen in these ethereal and psycho-sensorial pieces which I designed for Slide. They are designed to perform their task and at the same time to touch the soul through the synthesis between the color’s energy, the symbols of nature and the Plexiglass fascinating transparencies, which is a sustainable material because it is long-lasting, hygienic, non-toxic and recyclable. I designed them bearing in mind that never as in this era the value of one’s own space has become evident, where home is the safe house and the center to rediscover our energy. They are furnishings designed to make you feel good, which together with functionality bring a real psychoemotional therapy, using a subliminal language between chromotherapy, numerology and symbology".
