EVENTS BEA: FESTIVALS AND AWARDS FOR LIVE COMMUNICATION

On November 29th, the eighteenth edition of the Festival Best Event Awards Italia will take place at Superstudio Maxi with the ADC Group award assigned to the best 2021 live communication projects. Until December 2, a rich series of presentations, discussions and interviews with the protagonists of the contemporary events industry will be led both in physical and digital formats. At the end of the work the award ceremony, followed by the ceremonial dinner.

Eighteenth edition happens in year 0, that is the one of the rebirth. Looking ahead, BEA promoters thoroughly questioned the future of the event industry. The questions they have asked themselves will be shared with the public in a series of conferences scheduled for December 1st. Among the fundamental themes: since the transition from physical stages to the so-called meta-stages has changed the experience of the event, is the place where events take place still the same? Should it be rethought? ; while events enters private places via social channels and in real-time or postponed sharing, live communication gains new territories: how does creativity evolve to ensure the permanence and effectiveness of the message and experience? What is the role of supporting technology?
At the end of the work, two types of prizes will be awarded: Best Event Awards and Best Partner Awards, the latter dedicated to the structures that enhance the partners who have been the best to adapt to a scenario characterized by intense mutability and change of traditional live communication formats, proposing innovative and effective solutions.
From the promoter’s perspective it is clear that year 0 is the year of unlimited design possibilities: the questions about it are the first step to rethink the way to participate, organize and design events. Goal: a New Stage for a New Year.
