The Digital Design Days return from 7 until 9 May 2026, landing at Superstudio Village in Bovisa to chart the course of design in the age of AI. With three parallel stages, one hundred international speakers and the debut of the Design Battle, the event’s tenth anniversary both cements the district — and the “super” venue — as a new creative hub for Milan, while equipping the community with practical tools and inspiration to shape the future.
Milan is preparing once again to position itself as a global capital of innovation and design as Digital Design Days arrive at Superstudio Village in Bovisa from 7–9 May.
Ten years of creative exploration, vision and cross-pollination mark a milestone the event celebrates by looking boldly ahead, at a moment when artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are already redrawing the boundaries of creativity, design and business models. At the same time, the anniversary projects Bovisa — and Superstudio Village — onto the Milanese, Italian and international creative stage, echoing what occurred in the early 2000s in the Tortona district with the rise of Superstudio Più.
At a time when AI is no longer a promise but a reality, Digital Design Days position themselves as a compass for navigating the digital landscape, offering real case studies and encounters with those already turning theory into practice.
The 2026 format aims higher than ever: three concurrent stages, up to 100 international speakers, and a programme designed to balance stimulation and inspiration with practical insight and forward-looking vision. Among the headline figures is Stefan Sagmeister, the legendary Austrian designer and two-time Grammy Award winner, renowned for transforming visual thinking into tangible emotion. Yet the real strength of Digital Design Days lies in their sense of community, a place to meet, learn and depart with practical tools, fresh ideas and a renewed awareness of the role design plays in shaping the world to come.
The standout addition for this tenth edition is the Design Battle, a creative challenge open to all: one brief, two hours, and a live arena where speed, intuition and vision will make the difference. Cash prizes and passes for the 2027 edition are at stake, but above all the chance to measure oneself against the best, before an audience hungry for talent.
