DESIGN/CULT&MUST - Clay by Desalto: the wish table

Posted by: Fulvia Ramogida

Like the volumes that emerge from metaphysical landscapes, clay is an essential sculpture table, composed of simple and perfectly matched graphic signs, daring in their balance. The base, a solid and compact cone thins in a hazard of proportions to merge and explode in its top, formed by an inverted cone. A controlled equilibrium achievable only thanks to the technical and artisanal knowledge of Desalto. Round or oval, the clay table is a design piece that gives tone and personality to an environment where different souls coexist or  it can be the only protagonist of a minimalist set design.

Created in 2015 by designer Marc Krusin who began his career in Milan, clay embodies the image and substance of a young Italian brand, Desalto, which in less than thirty years has positioned itself in the international panorama of high-end design companies, combining research, functionality and extreme refinement in a range of products intended to last.
We love the new cement slate finish, with an industrial and elegant taste, without forgetting the possibility to customize it with the swivel tray an Oriental touch and the will to share with those who sit next to us…
