For two days, Milan became the focal point of denim thanks to Denim Première Vision, which returned as every year to Superstudio Più on November 26 and 27. This edition told the story of a world where past and future coexist, speaking not only to industry professionals but also to those who see jeans as a cultural symbol before being a piece of clothing. Among the stands, one of the most fascinating themes was “worn” denim: new fabrics that already seem full of stories thanks to innovative engineered printing techniques and treatments capable of creating that aged effect so captivating to young people, increasingly drawn to times they have never known. A reinvented nostalgia that becomes style through dusty colors, retro washes, and details evoking an imagined past.
Alongside this, the reference to concreteness, streetwear, and functionality was also strong, translated into robust and authentic garments, far from polished perfection and instead close to lived everyday life. The event showed how new technologies can give life to products that seem antique while being born from the future, combining craftsmanship and innovation in a balance that became the true protagonist of the exhibition. In the end, what remains from this edition is a collective story: denim as a universal language, a bridge between generations, a symbol capable of transforming nostalgia into creativity and making everyone feel part of a story, even when that story is invented by the fabric itself.
