The Atelier of the FLA Museum at Superstudio Più hosted the 2025 edition of "Sentient Horizons," the event curated by Istituto Marangoni Milano Design that explores the intersection of art, design, science, and artificial intelligence. Over 150 attendees, including professionals and students, gathered insights, innovations, and inspiration from an international panel of leading experts.

The theme of this year’s edition was “Seamless Singularities,” an exploration of the hybrid zone where the interaction between humans and artificial systems gives rise to new visions of what is possible.

Taking the stage were three key figures from the global scene: Sougwen Chung, an artist featured in TIME100 AI and a pioneer in the collaboration between human gesture and automated systems; Mónica Bello, art historian and former director of Arts at CERN, now a leading voice in contemporary scientific art; Massimo Chiriatti, CTO of Lenovo and author of Incoscienza Artificiale, a specialist in the ethical and cultural implications of AI. Moderated by journalist Serena Scarpello, the panel tackled critical questions about creativity in the age of machines—particularly whether AI can truly be creative, the evolving role of the artist, and the ethical responsibilities that arise.
The event reinforces Superstudio and the FLA Museum as hubs of cross-disciplinary culture and contemporary experimentation, capable of hosting global debates in the heart of Milan. Meanwhile, Istituto Marangoni Milano Design reaffirms its role not only as one of the most prestigious schools, but also as an incubator of critical thought and visionary outlooks, where education and the future intertwine in the practice of tomorrow’s art and design.
