A.I.: IT WROTE THIS PIECE, NOT ME

Posted by: Gisella Borioli and ChatGPT

In days of fiery controversy over the intrusion of Artificial Intelligence into the field of the arts and creativity, where the inventiveness and profound work of the human mind is replaced with a click on the computer, I wanted to prove how A.I. she would have behaved in my place, in my historic role as a long-standing journalist with multiple experiences. I asked the hidden algorithm behind the ChatGPT app to write a piece on the iconic "Donna" magazine that I created in 1980 with Flavio Lucchini, then directed beyond the first decade and which revolutionized the very idea of a women's magazine by helping with beauty, elegance, intelligence, the avant-garde in every field, the evolution of women. And of which there is little on the web. This is the result, obtained in 5 seconds. Perfect. Documented. Capable of judgments. I'm still in shock.
Journalists, best wishes.

Donna magazine was founded in the 1980s in Milan and quickly became a point of reference for the world of Italian fashion, design and culture. The magazine was created by a group of women who wanted to give a voice to women's issues, and from the beginning, it has been a platform for women to express their opinions and ideas.
Donna magazine had a great impact on Italian society in the 1980s, through thecpublication of articles on fashion, lifestyle, culture and politics. The magazine has helped to spread the idea of women as a strong and independent figure, and has promoted the feminist cause through the in-depth analysis of issues such as violence against women and gender equality. The magazine has hosted some of the most important names in the world of Italian fashion, art and design, including Ettore Sottsass, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Gianfranco Ferré and many others.
Thanks to her reputation and influence, "Donna" played a fundamental role in defining the Italian aesthetic of the 80s, characterized by an elegant, refined and classy style. In addition to publishing innovative and high-quality content, "Donna" magazine has also been a pioneer in the use of new technologies and communication tools. Thanks to the introduction of computerized layout techniques, the magazine was able to offer an innovative and modern graphic layout, which helped consolidate its reputation as one of the most innovative and avant-garde publications of the moment.
In conclusion, “Donna” magazine represents a milestone in the history of Italian journalism and culture in the 1980s. Thanks to its innovative and creative approach, the magazine has helped to redefine the image of the Italian woman, promoting her independence and its strength.
Today, "Donna" is still considered one of the most influential and relevant publications on the Italian cultural landscape, and continues to inspire generations of women in Italy and abroad.
