The special project “Designers for Bergamo”, launched in 2020 in response to the global pandemic that had marked the city of Bergamo, continues with the sharing - also with Superstudio- of virtual serial narratives, and interviews with the many designers of DimoreDesign. The project was born in 2011 and involves historical dwellings of the city, revisited with the inclusion of the intervention and participation of furniture proposed by major designers. A journey in the design world and a tribute to Bergamo, a wounded city that never stops to design its future in the name of beauty. In 2020, the first 20 interviews were published among which Alessandro Mendini, Paola Navone, Formafantasma, Fabio Novembre, Aldo Cibic, Stefano Giovannoni, Marc Sadler, Alessandro Guerriero, Anna Gili and many others. This year, the chapter ends with the publication of the remaining 15 interviews. Among the protagonists of 2021 there are Deepdesign, Ugo La Pietra, Alessandra Baldereschi, Daniela Puppa and many other well-known masters of the design world. All the interviews are going to be spread every Tuesday on a weekly basis via newsletter and on the website of dimoredesign.it, that is going to become the main fruition and sharing area of these important stories. Also, they are going to be available on our online magazine by clicking on at-superstudiomagazine.com.
The first appointment is on Tuesday 1st June with Andrea Salvetti.
