DIANA ZABARELLA. THE BLUE-GREEN LAGOON

Diana Zabarella is the architect speaking the language of Venice, antique techniques of glass, wood and fabric making in her collection “Laguna” featured by Venetian blue-green shades.

Halfway between architectural design and restoration's fields, interior and product design, Diana Zabarella presents four products of the Laguna collection, two of which are new creations employing textiles in collaboration with Luigi Bevilacqua of Venice: the Bozzolo pouf /coffee table and the Canfin lamp. The Bozzolo, in wood with a removable padded seat, evokes a silkworm cocoon, both in its shape and in the silk used in making the velvet fabric. The Canfin, in wood and fabric, rechargeable LED, recalls the Venetian oil lamp once used on boats, outdoors and in the home. She has paired these with the Peggy chair, produced by Reflex Angelo in wood and foam with leather or fabric upholstery, and the Daisy flower-shaped magazine rack, produced by Roche Bobois in eco-leather.
