FROM THE PAST TO THE FUTURE

In Milan, Superstudio indicates an iconic place, actually two, that taxi drivers have known, by heart for years. The name, chosen as a tribute to the namesake Avant guard group of architects of the 70’s by the founders Gisella Borioli and Flavio Lucchini, points at Superstudio 13 the first hub for fashion photography and image created in 1983, and at the nearby Superstudio Più, the great centre for innovative events open in 2000. Thirty-five years after the first centre dedicated to creativity, Superstudio Group looks ahead with innovations both in its own and related companies’ activities, renovates the organisation, the offer and the team.
A few examples? Art and community merge in the new “Fondazione Flavio Lucchini” project, NPO that will manage Lucchini’s art works heritage with the aim to encourage “special needs” young people and children to become interested in art. Superstudio Events, managed by young Tommaso Borioli, in charge of all temporary events, now adding the new services branch. Calls begin for the upcoming Superdesign Show, pioneer and protagonist of the Fuorisalone 2018 with the project ONLY THE BEST and the return of Giulio Cappellini as general art director of the event. The “best” and the “new” also express through temporary or permanent guests who represent the global excellence: memorable are the recent or next events by Google, Amazon, Luxottica, La7, Agos, Motorola and others. The new-entry, Epiphany, 5.0 company who created and works on contents and data for the biggest global players of the web. A new address is added to Superstudio Hospitality, that, with its eight sophisticated guest houses and short-term apartment in Dubai, offers to friends and clients the possibility of mediumlong stays with all Superstudio’s attentions and style. Superstudio Events increases its visibility on web and promotes the venue outside national boarders. Indexing on all search engines, online advertising, promotion on various marketplace of events spaces and a new analytic and collaborative CRM to cultivare a growing community of companies, creative and professionals. Very strong led lights in every space replace the old vintage “dishes” and enable to host exhibiting events even without the adding further lighting and bring out the optical white of the newly painted spaces. New led lights also in the photographic studios of via Forcella, starting from the six spaces that become one overlooking via Bugatti. The contact point in Dubai is active to follow through new Made in Italy initiatives.
