1000 VASES: ENDLESS CREATIVITY

An out-of-the-ordinary exhibition demonstrating how fantasy can work endlessly on a single subject, and how beauty can take the most varied forms through different techniques and materials.

1000 VASES presents unique pieces made by hundreds of independent designers from 40 countries. From Australia, England, Denmark, the USA, Portugal, Mexico, France, Morocco, Lebanon, Italy, Japan, the Czech Republic, Russia, Sweden, Brazil, Greece and many other places, in an extraordinary journey around the world united by the design of a small yet fundamental object. The collection of a large number of vases allows the quantity and diversity of objects to speak for themselves, through a simple and harmonious scenography that enhances their originality: tribal, minimal, pop, sculptural, elementary, complicated, sophisticated, purist, fun, sinuous, geometric and irregular forms, presented in a fashion-show like manner in the central hall of Superstudio Più, will amaze visitors. Following its first edition in Paris in 2018, 1000 VASES traveled to Dubai, returning to Paris last September during Maison & Objet and collaborating with French fashion label Jacquemus for its 10-year anniversary event. All exhibited pieces are available for sale, as is the 1000 VASES book which regroups them all, published by Skira and edited by Pier Paolo Pitacco with a preface by Silvana Annicchiarico.
